This week’s throwback Thursday #TBT goes to Nigeria’s very own Rooftop MCs , for their 2004 song Shock Therapy. Shock Therapy is also the title of the debut album by the Rooftop MCs duo made up of Adekunle Adeyoola (Soulsnatcha) and Olaitan Hughes ( Sokleva).
Shock therapy is a fusion of Rap, Rock and Fuji (Nigerian indigenous genre) was a mainstream success. Shock Therapy appears to be a prayer to God to take full control over life, by rescuing from its harshness.
