Exactly five months after the release of Ife Ni, El’Noel drops the second song Shawa (Shower) off the From The Wild EP
The ancient hymn “Showers of blessing“is what comes to mind. That is exactly what this song describes .
As expected , El’Noel delivered excellently in his local language, Yoruba. Below is a description of the song by El’Noel himself.
Trusting in God is a huge prerequisite to being blessed, And there’s this understanding it births: it makes you “blind”, and it gives you this grateful heart. That heart that gratefully and thankfully call things that are not as though they were, That thankful heart that rejoices about results even before seeing them.
The song ends with a prayer themed hook “Let your blessings fall on me, Dakun (please)”.
