Andy Mineo has remained relatively quiet since he released his second studio album , Uncomfortable in September 2015. Apart from his
collaboration with former Reach Records producer Alex Medina on “I Can’t Wait”, and his performance of an untitled new song at Sway Calloway’s
“SXSW Takeover” back in March.
On August 23, he dropped his newest single “Candy Rain”, which is, innocently enough, a celebration of his 2-year anniversary with his wife Cristina
Mineo. The song “Candy Rain” was inspired by from the 1994 number-one R&B hit single “Candy Rain” by the R&B group Soul for Real.
This is Andy Mineo’s way of saying how wonderful is wife is.
