Lecrae is one of the most successful artists in Christian hip-hop, and arguably the most sought-after rapper in this genre, who has given inspiration to many other younger artists in the Christian music industry which eventually have led to their emergence. Having won several major awards, (including three Grammys awards), topped charts multiple times, and also gained high figures on streaming services.
However, he has had some challenges too as successful as he is. He has had times when he was struggling with his faith, when he felt like the entire world was against him, also times when he felt like he was drowning and could not breathe as a result of trying to keep up with the pressures of life. Sometimes having everything does not bring contentment.
The documentary is a behind-the-scenes of the making of the Restoration project and also has Lecrae explaining the process and his road to restoration. It is expected to drop this Friday, 14th as announced by Reach Records.
