Christian Rapper ‘Illtalian’ elevates Christian hip hop as he wins the most prestigious award in Hawaiian Music. The Nā Hōkū Hanohano award which is seen as the most celebrated award in Hawaii’s musical scene took place on the 19th of May.
The rapper won the award for the ‘Best Rap Album Of The Year’ category which was even a secular category for his last album titled ‘Makana’ meaning gift. The rapper has expressed joy and happiness and thanked everyone who collaborated to the success of the album.

He said : One thing I forgot to mention in all of the craziness of winning the Hawaiian Grammy: I won not in the religious category, but in the completely secular Hip Hop category. I mention this not to brag, but as a reminder to myself that God can do anything, regardless of our ‘label.’

The album was produced by Ariki Foster Music, Illtalian featured artistes like Gemstones 1k Phew, R – Swift, and many more.

He will be celebrating this great achievement on the 24th Of June alongside friends, family, fans and also will be performing songs from the album.
