Dry Bones Are Coming to Life On Angeloh’s New Single, “Come Alive”

Right after serving bread, rapper and performing artiste Angeloh comes through with words of hope on new single, ‘Come Alive’.

“In dark times we are bound to trip all over the place; and shadow boxing in the dark is the worst time to battle the enemy. But when the light comes: whether you’re confused, seemingly defeated, or already a valley of dry bones; YOU WILL COME ALIVE!!”

At a time when everything seems to be going against us and it’s almost like we’re losing on every side, it is important to know and have the assurance that God is always with us and will make us Come Alive from the dark corners of life through His light. Angeloh puts this message better in the song with these words:

“I’ve been taking all these punches losing every fight; Joy comes in the morning but most times it’s night; They’ve been tryin’ to shoot me down in my time of flight; But I know that my Jehovah never let me leave him sight. When the Light Comes — You make me COME ALIVE” When I recorded this song over 3 years ago, my manager at the time had a parent who was ill and close to death. I was also amidst chaotic situations that I had no control over based on the limits of the physical abilities or connections around me. This song was my interpretation of what God was saying to me. Fast forward to 2020 COVID-19 lockdown; myself, my family, friends and indeed the whole World were thrown into another chaotic situation that none of us were prepared for. This message of this song again was there to hold us up. I was supposed to put it out but had to record it again because we lost the first recording files??‍♂️??‍♂️ We were done, uploaded the song and loaded it up for an October 16 release (tomorrow), and then again, we are thrown into another chaotic situation — powerful in every way! But as the chorus goes, amidst gross darkness the light God is being cast in my life, in the body of Christ, in Nigeria and the world (even as he did in the situations I mentioned above.) I pray the power of God uses everything that is this song and everything around you to not only bring hope to your valley; but cast His bright light over it, bringing every dry bone to life! Angeloh was among the young folks who took the cue to start a prayer walk amidst the police brutality protest in Nigeria. The prayer walk which was held on 11th of October at Ikeja, Lagos had a tremendous turn-up. The wave has since spread across to other cities in Nigeria.
